The idea about changing thoughts, I had previously viewed as some silly concept that was trivial, artificial, and an ignorant way of not dealing with reality. Then to learn and actually understand that not only are my thoughts optional, but that I can control them? All of a sudden, my thoughts became a powerful tool!
While working with Kendra I learned how to work through and evaluate the thoughts that I have, so that I can create a better thought to achieve my desired results. I also learned about boundaries and how to create healthy boundaries that are about me and not focused on changing another person’s behavior or feelings about a situation.
The thing I love most about working with Kendra is that she teaches you how to trust yourself again and gives you the tools to heal. I have had better healing working with her than some of the professional counselors I have had in my journey.
